I'm still alive

I haven’t forgotten about the blog, I’ve just been busy kitting out my apartment and getting to grips with work. Also, I have yet to get the internet hooked up at home and Facebook is blocked at work, so my apologies to all those I’m playing Scrabble with — I shall return to the boards anon. Once I get a broadband connection in the flat I’ll upload a few pics of the place.

As I write this it’s hazy and cold in Abu Dhabi. It may even rain soon, something I’m told hasn’t happened in the city for almost 12 months.

Hey David…good to hear everything is working out well for you…even the weather is accomadating it seems…nothing like a bit of rain to make an Irishman seem at home! πŸ™‚
Love the pictures you have up, of the city. It looks amazing.
    Hows life in the office?
When is the first print expected to be?
It will be good to win that game of scrabble…oh… I meant..finish that game of scrabble… πŸ™‚

The office is fairly quiet at the moment. Lots of people are still to arrive and we’re still working on dummy editions and such. So much to do before the paper launches! We haven’t been given a definite publication date but the working plan is “late March”.
